Pour activer la licence du serveur ESXi sur l’application vSphere il faut se connecter sur le serveur ensuite aller dans les paramètres du logiciel, Fonctions Autorisées et y entrer la clé de Licence.
Que l’on voit sur l’image la licence d’évolution expira dans 60 jours, donc avant les 60 il faudra activer une licence sur le serveur.
Sur l’application sur le serveur on va dans l’onglet Configuration, dans Logiciel on choisit Fonctions autorisées puis à droit le lien bleu Modifier.
Dans la fenêtre Assigner Licence: localhost.localdomain la licence d’évolution n’a pas accès à toutes les ressources du serveur et elle expira à la date indiquée ici 1 Mars 2020.
Pour activer la licence on choisit Affecter une nouvelle clé de licence d’hôte et ensuite comme l’image suivante Entrer Clé.
dans la fenêtre Ajout clé de licence après avoir saisi la clé on valice avec le bouton OK.
selon l’mage après l’activation de la clé licence l’ESXi est capable de supporter jusqu’à 100 noyaux de Processeur sur le même serveur et la licence n’expira jamais.
en revenant dans l’onglet Configuration du serveur et dans Fonctions autorisées on peut trouver la clé insérée et sa date d’expiration. En plus si on compare la liste des fonctionnaliés avant et après l’activation on trouve des fonctionnalités qui n’étaient pas disponible avant l’activation.
